Stage 1 - Catharsis (Nigredo – Blackening) Element: Earth | Archetype: Crow or Raven

This stage represents decomposition, death, descent, and the dark night of the soul. It is often marked by great loss, destruction of old identities, and the shattering of perception. This phase can feel terrifying, but it is necessary. Everything false begins to dissolve so something true can be formed.

  • Disillusionment of false perceptions and illusions.

  • Loss of former self and relationship identity

  • Facing shadow, trauma, and suppressed truth

  • Grief, rage, collapse, and surrender

  • The fertile void before rebirth

Stage 2 - Illumination (Albedo – Whitening) Element: Water | Archetype: White Dove

Illumination is the washing away of what remains after collapse. Emotional and energetic impurities begin to dissolve. What lived in the unconscious is brought to light. The fog starts to lift. You begin to see clearly what was and what is.

  • Distinguishing truth from illusion

  • Beginning to trust your inner knowing

Stage 3 - Integration (Citrinitas – Yellowing). Element: Air | Archetype: Peacock, Bridge

This is the dawn after darkness. New energies, archetypes, and identities begin to emerge. The clean slate starts to take on color. Intuition strengthens. You begin taking steps toward your new self, while still learning how to stay anchored there.

  • Embodiment of new patterns

  • Strengthening intuition and self-trust

  • Creating new habits and boundaries

  • Navigating tenderness and instability of early change

Stage 4 - Union (Rubedo – Reddening). Element: Fire | Archetype: Phoenix

Union is culmination, completion, and rebirth. Consciousness has transformed. A new wholeness is achieved. You are no longer who you were, and returning to that version of yourself is no longer an option. You now live in co-creation with the universe.

  • Integration of all parts of self

  • Embodied sovereignty and power

  • Living from truth rather than survival

  • Rebirth into authentic self

In this work we will enter into the vessel of the body to reconnect to our visceral knowing, somatic impulses, emotional expression and boundary integration through trauma informed somatic inquiry and authentic movement. Energetic exploration, teachings, tools and activating meditations will be integrated to empower our process. Ceremonial elements, nature connection and awareness of the sacred will be woven into our time together.
